We are excited to see applications coming in for the grant. We are preparing our systems and training application screeners and reviewers. We have not yet begun the application review process due to conversations we continue to have about insurance coverage.
We have heard your struggles with insurance coverage and see that we are facing a large equity issue. Together with Clackamas ESD and the State of Oregon, we continue to take note of evidence of these barriers from submitted applications, review your communications, and seek solutions that are manageable for all organizations across our state.
As you can imagine, these processes can take much longer than expected. Please know we see the delays and are pushing for quick decisions since this impacts your ability to make decisions about summer programming that may start this month.
