Following the announcement by the Oregon Department of Education last week that clarified insurance requirements for applicants for this summer, a few insurance agents have reached out to us to let us know they are ready, willing, and able to provide reasonable rates in a short timeline for this summer. We are in conversations with several providers to make sure they understand the scope and the timeline in preparation.
As we discover these providers, we will add their names to this resource document.

Also, a reminder: you CAN use grant dollars to reimburse for insurance costs. Because we will need to see proof of insurance coverage to authorize application approval, grant funds can be used as an allowable expense to reimburse the up-front expense.
