Greetings!
OAESD has some exciting news to share with you regarding the Oregon Community Summer Grants! We began final approvals last week for previously received applications. As we complete the final review process on a rolling basis, we are sending notification to applicants via email. We are excited to be sharing the good news and for programs to have some information to help them move forward in summer programming. Clackamas ESD is working on the final details of contracts and distribution of funds for approved applicants, and both will be available to approved applicants shortly.
Additionally, we have determined a closing date for applications. The last day for submitting an application will be July 15, 2022. The final day to submit supporting documents, like a Certificate of Insurance or Insurance endorsements, will be July 22, 2022. We had originally anticipated applicants being awarded funds in May through June. With the period of pause due to insurance clarification, the timeline shifted. This closing date ensures the delivery of programming for students during the summer.

Finally, if you are a grant recipient, you will receive information about reporting, as well as updates and reminders through August and September. We plan to send visitors to most summer programming sites to document the great work you are doing to have exciting information to share with our Oregon community, OCSG work groups, and legislators in the state. As we have more information about that, we will send emails so you know what and who to expect.
