Hello, Oregon Community Summer Grant Friends!
We are thrilled to have had so many of you apply! In total, there are 480 applications in our system, with requests totalling almost $60 million! We have been able to approve about 360 grant applications for a total of nearly $50 million. As such, we have reached the end of our distributable funds. High five to the great programs out there who received funding and a big hug and lots of hope for those programs with great ideas who didn’t receive funding this summer. We hope the legislature continues to designate funds for summer learning in 2023! If you also want to see sustained funding, consider advocating by writing a letter or email to your state legislators making that request!
