Executive Director
Amber Eaton has served as Executive Director for the Oregon Association of Education Service Districts since 2021. Amber served as the Program Administrator prior to accepting the Executive Director position starting in 2019. Amber has more than 17 years of experience supporting Oregon’s youth and educators.
Amber started her career in education as a pre-k and elementary teacher. She taught for both private and public schools in the Willamette Valley. In addition to regular teaching duties, Amber also supported fellow staff members in her Lead Teacher role and by holding positions within the local union. Amber then moved into administrative roles at both the secondary and primary levels. She served as Assistant Principal and then Principal while also carrying out district-level duties.
Amber holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Willamette University, a MA in Teaching from Willamette University, and an administrative licensure through Portland State University.
Amber lives in Albany with her husband, Ryan. She loves to ride horses and explore beautiful Oregon.
